admitting to myself and hoping

I'm hoping to finally admit what I'm looking for. But first I have to acknowledge first how I got here. I'm 45 and divorced and knew early on that men where exciting, but it's taken many years to admit my bisexuality. It's only since my divorce that I've realized that I'm am much more interested in men and would much more prefer a male partner in the future. So Why Is It So Hard to Meet Someone?

It took me a very long time to realize that I don't want to grow old(er) alone. Having a couple of dogs is good company, but face it, they're not human. I've lived all over the country and now I'm in a very rural area. I don't do bars/clubs (have a low tolerance for loud music where you can't have a conversation), and that seems to be my only option in my area. I've tried sites like this one and don't seem to attract much more than married men and/or one-nighters. I tried chemistry.com and the only matches they came up with were a minimum of 100 miles away! I can't move from where I am due to my job, and I don't have much faith in a long-distance relationship.

I really don't want to be old and alone in Delaware (or anywhere else) for much longer. I don't think I'm such a horrible person. So why can't I find my man?
